You want to make this? It's gonna take a bit of effort but, oh .... it will be so very worth your time.
Birria is a Mexican dish that is usually served as a soup or stew.
I made this particular dish because of how popular it is at taco shops here in California.
To start, make Birra Tacos (Quesabirria)
You will have tons of delicious leftovers, both the meat and broth, with my Birria recipe.
Assembling the Birra Ramen will only take you a matter of minutes.
You won't be sorry.
You will be using the leftover meat and consomé (the broth) from this Birria recipe.
1 packet of Ramen per person. You can use any asian noodle you like but we're making Ramen here.
The rest is essentially garnish for this dish.
Use any or all of these.
diced white onion
thinly sliced purple cabbage
pickled red onions. Recipe HERE
thinly sliced radishes
fried or poached egg with a runny yok
Heat about 2 cups of broth per person in a pot. While your broth is warming, cook the ramen according to instructions.
Divide your ramen between bowls and add your meat. Ladle broth onto the ramen and add any toppings you like.
