Ingredients 3 tomatillos, husked and rinsed 2-3 serrano chiles (depends on how hot you like it) 2 garlic cloves 2 avocados, pitted and peeled 1/2 cup yellow onion 3 tablespoons cilantro 1 tsp sea salt Directions Put the tomatillos and chiles into a small saucepan, pour water just to cover, and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat. Do not drain the water. Put the tomatillos, chiles and garlic into a food processor or blender and process until combined. Add the avocado, onion, cilantro and salt and process again until smooth. Add about a 1/4 cup of the reserved water and blend until you like the consistency. Add more water as needed.
