Our days were spent exploring the island on a moped that was much too small for two people (get your own!). We lounged poolside while slinging back rum cocktails out of plastic tumblers and snorkeling through the stilts of overwater bungalows out into the clear waters of the lagoon.
Our constant search and sampling of the perfect Poisson Cru (Tahiti's national dish of fresh raw fish marinated in coconut juice) at other resorts around the island lead to a continuous Mai Tai sampling as well. This kept our bellies filled and our spirits happy during the day. Unfortunately, we can't remember where we actually had the best Poisson Cru of our lives. As I recall, every time we ate a beautifully decorated bowl of Poisson Cru the words "Oh, this is it! This is the best one!" would come flowing our of our mouths while we dribbled lime juice down our chins.
And below is long (5 minute) compilation video of the whole trip.
